I am planning a SPECIAL LADIES DAY, Sunday August 15 for

Texas Concealed Handgun License training at the Club.

Unfortunately, in 2010, ladies are the Number One targets of criminals,

followed by senior citizens, then handicapped Americans in wheelchairs.

Please pass this information to your lady friends, family members,

and work associates for consideration. Focused training for new

handgun owners and shooters is expanded for this class.

Responsible citizens of the State of Texas have the unique privilege of obtaining a permit to carry a concealed handgun for their personal safety and security, including the protection of family and property. Obtaining a permit to carry concealed in the State of Texas requires a 10 hour Concealed Handgun License Certification course. The course offered by SurvivorCHL covers gun safety, gun storage, use of force, dispute resolution and Texas laws regarding use of force as a defense and licensing requirements. Please note, all PCSC classes are limited to ten (10) members for quality training. The Texas CHL requires completion of the course, qualifying with a handgun at the private PCSC range, and passing a 50 question test. The CHL applicant then applies and pays a fee to the State of Texas which completes a background check and completes the issuance of the license. Please contact me to discuss items and equipment needed for the class. SurvivorCHL classes are scheduled on the First and Third Sunday of each month; new CHL applicants ($80); CHL renewal with five hour class ($60). Please schedule 2 weeks prior to class date.
